“Look and think before opening the shutter.

The heart and mind are the true lens of the camera.”

 - Yousuf Karsh -

Some photographers find their way to the stage — I never really left it.

Having been a dancer most of my life, I understand instinctively what it means to inhabit a moment, to feel the energy shift in a room, and to recognise the precise breath before something extraordinary happens.

That intimate knowledge of performance is what I bring to every shoot.

My path through Interior Design and Set Design for both Television and Stage gave me a deep appreciation for the visual language of a space — how light, shadow, colour, and composition tell a story long before a performer ever speaks a word, or takes a step.

That same passion for space and structure extends to my love of architectural photography, where I find poetry in the lines, curves, and light of the built world.

I believe the most powerful images are the ones that feel discovered rather than staged — a fleeting expression and raw emotion that lives between the movements, glances and scripted lines.

I move through performances and built spaces the way I once moved through choreography: with intention, with presence, and with deep respect for the art unfolding.

My heart has always been my lens. It's what guides me toward the images that don't just document a performance or space, but honour it.
